Belt it

April 29, 2016

When I decided to pair this shirt with this skirt there was one problem: the shirt was too short and wouldn’t stay tucked in. My solution – belt it!

To pull off this look, you are going to need to size up with the belt (I purchased the medium). I love this particular belt because it has holes throughout the entire length of the belt. This feature is extremely useful given that you are buying a belt that would normally be too big for you.

To tie a belt like this the first step is to put on the belt, just like you would any other belt. Next, take the “tail” of the belt and tuck it under the portion of the belt near the belt buckle (if you look at my photos you can see the area of the belt I am referring to). Finally, pull the belt through the “compartment” you created in step 2! I promise it sounds more complicated than it is!

Let me know if you have trouble recreating this look in the comments and I can provide more detailed instructions or even a photo!!! Have a wonderful weekend!
